Roma Cup will take place for the first time in the Rome area of Foro Olimpico - Stadio Flaminio - not far from downtown Rome the "Eternal City".

 
The tournament, in which 40 teams from all over Europe are expected, is authorized by the National Federation FIGC & FIFA.

Official referees will be in charge of the matches.

PROGRAMME:

Day 1

Arrival at your hotel in in the Rome area. Check in, briefing and distribution of tournament schedule. Evening: official reception for team delegates (2 per team).

Day 2

Morning: opening ceremony of the tournament. Afternoon: commencement of first round matches.

Day 3

Semifinals and finals. In the evening, prize-giving ceremony.

DOCUMENTS & RULES

TOURNAMENTS: On arrival, you will be given an information folder containing documents and rules of the tournament together with final playing groups and kick-off times.

COMPETITION SYSTEM

Matches will be played in a league format in groups of mainly of 4 teams each; groups of 3 or 5 teams may also be possible. The organizers can change formats at their discretion.  A maximum of 6 matches could be played. A minimum of 3 matches are guaranteed under any competition format.

Exceptionally, teams may have to play 2 matches on the same day or one after the other.

ACCOMMODATION
In 3-star category Hotels situated in the Rome-area. Accommodation: the group will be accommodated as requested in in twin or 3-bedded rooms. Meals: based on half  board - breakfast and dinner -at either the hotels or nearby restaurants. Drinks are not included.

ASSISTANCE

A committee, specialized in sport events oversees the organization of your stay. You may also have your personal bilingual assistant with your team throughout your stay if you wish. (At extra cost).
 

TRANSPORTATION
When you choose your transportation to Italy, consider also the possibility of flying into the airports of BOLOGNA / FORLI’, PESCARA, or VENICE, (only 40 minutes away). There are several low-cost airlines operating flights from the UK, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Scandinavia and Spain. We can arrange transfers and general transportation within Italy on request.

The registered teams undertake to participate in this sports competition at their own risks and decline  to take any action whatsoever against the organizers and/or Sports Contact International, including any claims for personal injuries, damages to property, loss or theft.   Prices do NOT include insurance. Players and participants are advised to subscribe an insurance policy to cover risks.

SPORT CONTACT INTERNATIONAL

Sport Contact International, organizes football tournaments and friendlies in Spain since 1992. We work in conjunction with Racing Blanes F.C., C.D. Blanes, and several other Clubs -all members of the Catalan Football Federation. A special events team in cooperation with the official referee's association of Girona and the support of local authorities make our tournaments and friendly matches an exciting experience. Our activities take place in the Costa Brava coast, just one hour away to the north of Barcelona.


Teams from different countries have played in our tournaments: Algiers, Belgium, England, Finland, Grece, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain, which give our tournaments a truly international character.
