PROGRAMME OUTLINE:
Experience a sporting holiday together with your team and
supporters. Play friendly matches v. Spanish teams in their
home grounds without the "stress" of a tournament. Travel to
typical towns and villages in the area to meet Spanish teams and
share with them exceptional moments of sport and personal
experiences. A qualified bilingual assistant will be with you
throughout your stay to help you understand your host teams and
show you interesting sights along the way. A guided visit of
the city of Barcelona, a visit of FC Barcelona's Camp Nou
and Museum, and a lunch in the
city, rounds off the programme of our Friendly Tour 2008.
Day 1
Arrival at the
Hotel where you will be met by a sports coordinator of Sport
Contact who will welcome you and go over the programme Friendly
Tour 2008 in detail.
Day 2
Day at leisure.
Afternoon/evening trip to meet our
first host team. One match of 2x25 minutes will be played. A
Winners' Cup - Friendly Tour - will be presented to the winning
team. A second price will be awarded to the second best. The
match will be followed by a get-together of coaches, managers,
players and supporters to exchange tokens and share experiences
in a festive atmosphere. Return to the hotel.
Day 3
Excursion to
Barcelona and visit of the most relevant sports venues of the
'92 Olympic Games: Palacio de Sant Jordi, Olympic Stadium,
Olympic Village and the FC Barcelona's Camp Nou, including
entrance fee. Time permitting,
visits to museums, specific sights or monuments can also be included in
the itinerary (quoted on request). Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 4
Day at leisure.

Day 5
Day at
leisure. Enjoy the natural beauty of the area or visit one of
the many attractions of the local Theme Parks (Waterworld and
Delfinarium). Optionally you can also travel to the famous Theme
Park of Port Aventura (about 2hrs and 30 minutes away)
Day 6
Departure.
NOTE:
Friendlies: 2 matches included in programme. A 3rd match, if
desired, will be available on request.
REMARK:
A qualified bilingual assistant will be with you to assist
during your
stay in Spain.

ORGANIZERS
The Tournaments are organized by Club Racing Blanes FC, a member
of the Catalan Football Federation, special event organizers, in
cooperation with the official referee's association of Girona,
and Sport Contact International. Rules and regulations as
outlined by the Catalan and Spanish football federation and FIFA/UEFA.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
Friendly matches. One match of 2x25 minutes will be played at
each venue.
PITCHES
Artificial grass and grass pitches. NO metal studs allowed.
Teams are requested to bring the appropriate boots to play.
OUR AREA
Matches will be played in the area (max., 1 hour away) i.e., in
the towns of Girona, Figueras, Sant Feliu, Lloret, Blanes
etc. The Costa Brava, is known for its many amenities. There is
a large choice of discos, bars, restaurants, sandy beaches and
breathtaking views. There are also many interesting excursion
possibilities to carry out if you want to get to know the
surroundings and have a good time: Girona, Dali's Museum, Tossa
de Mar, Blanes botanical gardens, Medieval Night etc. (pls. see
"excursions" from main menu)
DOCUMENTS
A provisional
itinerary for your Friendly Tour, will be sent to you 14 days before arrival. On arrival in Spain you will receive the
final programme with details of kick-off times, matches etc.

TROPHIES
One cup for the winner and one cup for the 2nd place will be
awarded at each match.

SUBSTITUTES/CHANGES
No limit. Changes in all
categories: rolling.
ACCOMMODATION - HOTELS
The hotels are all in the 3-star category, situated in the towns
of Lloret de Mar, Blanes or Malgrat/ Santa Susanna, at approx., one hour from the city of Barcelona.
Accommodation: approx., 50% of the group will use twin-bedded rooms and 50% of
the group will use 3-bedded (or 4 bedded rooms -if desired). Pls note that three and four-bedded rooms are twins rooms with
additional beds. Services: all our hotels feature at least swimming pool, TV room,
bar and cafeteria. All rooms are with bath en suite. Meals:
based on full board from dinner on arrival day to lunch on
departure (can be changed to suit your arrival/departure
arrangements). All meals at the hotel are served mostly buffet-style. Drinks are not included but can be
organized for a nominal amount. Depending on the times of
matches it may sometime be necessary to have to order a packeg
meal from the hotel the day before.
IMPORTANT:
On arrival, the
Hotel will request a mandatory deposit of €15,00 per person for
the whole group. This is a guaranty against possible damages to
property that any member of the group might cause in the Hotel.
The deposit will be reimbursed on departure after the completion
of a routine check.

ASSISTANCE
A committee, specialized in sport events oversees the
organization of your stay. A bilingual assistant will be with
you throughout your stay.
TRANSPORTATION
When you choose your transportation to Spain, consider also the
possibility of flying to the airports of BARCELONA-GIRONA and
BARCELONA. The towns of Lloret de Mar, Blanes and
Malgrat/Santa Susanna are only 30 minutes away (from Barcelona,
75 minutes away). There are several low-cost airlines operating
flights from the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Holland and
Scandinavia. We can arrange
transfers and general transportation within Spain on request.

All registered
teams accept the risks involved in this sports competition.
Sport Contact International will not be responsible for any
personal damage or damages to property, loss or theft, suffered
during the stay in any of our tournaments and/or friendly
matches. Prices do NOT include insurance. Players and
participants are advised to subscribe an insurance policy for
personal and material damages.
